Speech Therapy

Speech therapy is a type of treatment for those who have difficulty speaking, communicating, or swallowing. It promotes the proper use of the voice and the use of the muscles to produce the desired sounds. It improves the understanding of words and the expression of oneself. Speech therapy can help children who have difficulty speaking and writing. Those with language impairments and reading difficulties, such as dyslexia, are included. A speech therapist, sometimes known as a speech-language pathologist, administers it. They begin by determining the type of speech or language issue a child has. They then figure out what's causing it and decide on the best course of action.
