Behavioral Therapy

Behavioral therapy is a broad term that encompasses a variety of strategies for modifying maladaptive behavior. The idea is to reinforce positive behaviors while removing negative ones. Behavioral therapy is a hands-on approach. As a result, behavioral therapy is usually very targeted. According to behavioral therapy, if old learning contributed to the formation of a problem, then new learning can correct it.
