A. What is Autism ?
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a Neurodevelopmental disorder which means it is associated with the development and functioning of the brain. The brain of an autistic individual is wired differently and hence works in a different way. The way a neurodivergent brain processes information obtained from different senses is different from how a typical brain processes it. This may lead to deficits in social interactions, communication, and behavior. Autism is a spectrum , meaning that the severity and symptoms can be of a wide range.
